Authenticity at
Château de Mauriac

When Elodie contacted me to shoot her wedding, I was particularly touched by her enthusiasm. She had done a lot of research on wedding photographers, had learned a lot about the different styles and had really fallen in love with the fine art style...and with my photos!

To photograph their wedding, I accompanied her and her beloved, in Occitania, all along this beautiful day of August. After the civil ceremony during which Elodie wore a first outfit, we met at the Château de Mauriac, in Senouillac (81), near Toulouse.

Just arrived on the spot, the guests could enjoy the refreshment proposed by the bride and groom, while they isolated themselves with boys and bridesmaids in the rooms of the castle, in order to make some shots of preparations between men, but especially so that Elodie changes and that she puts on the dress she will wear for the secular ceremony. This last one took place in the chapel of the castle and was a beautiful moment of emotions. Exchanging vows, smiles, laughter but also tears, the bride and groom and their guests offered us beautiful moments.

At the end of the ceremony, we left for about twenty minutes to take advantage of the soft light at the end of the day to take the couple pictures. On the program: vines, old stones, tenderness, and kisses, with Elodie's pretty bouquet in the background.

The Mauriac castle is a French castle, built in the heart of the vineyards, and which includes an interior courtyard. It is the courtyard that was supposed to host the reception and the wedding meal, but the capricious weather of the day made the future bride and groom reconsider their plans. Because of the rain always present at half day, Elodie and Vincent preferred to move the dinner inside. The end of the day was much sunnier and allowed everyone to share this beautiful day, which you can discover in pictures, in much better conditions.
